| Ordered this for my Palm V, and it came very quickly--as usual; nice job, Amazon!!! BUT, this case was NOT as advertised...the one shipped was nothing like it was pictured...no leather sleeve to put the PDA into; just a stylus-type connector that was supposed to slide into the left stylus holder. Fine, except the stylus connector was way too small for my Palm. Had to send it back. Again, not Amazon's fault---they are wonderful to work with, as usual!! I won't buy anything from iConcepts again, though. | |
 Decent Case for M515 | |
| I was a bit hesitant to get this case after seeing the initial review. But since it was only [a few] bucks, what the [heck] right? Well I'm glad I did. I am converting from a Palm IIIc so this is certainly a smaller case and not as bulky as what I was used to, big plus. There are a couple of slots for b'nis cards and SD cards, another plus. The strap and loop does not bother me since that is also how my last case is configured. The only things that I do find wrong is one, when I got the case, it had a velcro patch stitched to the inside pocket where you place the PDA. Now I dislike velcro very much and wanted this case because of the fact that in the picture it does not show any velcro. After I spend [the money] on a PDA, the last thing I want to put on it is velcro! However, this leads to my second gripe which is that the pocket that you place the PDA in could be tighter (probably why they put velcro there in the first place). I have only had one instance where the PDA almost slipped out, but it only started to slide out and was not even close to being completely ejected. (Maybe it moved out about 1/2 inch.) All said, I give this guy 4 stars and definately recommend it for the money you pay. | |
| Good leather but not so good case | |
| This leather case isn't bad but a lot bulkier than it looks in the picture. Also, the way to open and shut it is very inconvenient. Instead of using a snap or velcro which would have been better, you have to slide the flap through a little leather ring. Not only does it feel awkward and take too much time to open and close, but it looks as though the ring could easily break over time. Had I first seen this in the store, I would not have bought it. That being said, the leather is good quality and if you don't mind spending extra time to get it opened and closed, its not a bad product. |
